Does Driza-Bone ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to a number of overseas countries. Our international customers need to be aware that any order shipped to a destination outside of Australia may be subject to import taxes or duties. Driza-Bone only charges the merchandise and shipping to your credit card. Driza-Bone is not responsible for and will not reimburse any of these charges or duties. As the recipient, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and are liable for these charges. Import taxes and duties (if applicable) are the responsibility of the consignee.

Are Driza-Bone products made in Australia?

All our traditional oilskin outerwear is made in Australia and we will continue to do so. We are very committed to maintaining our Australian production however manufacturing in Australia is on the decline across all industries and the garment business is no different. We are slowly losing the skills and machinery in our industry which makes being competitive in some areas very difficult therefore we look overseas to produce select items.

Australian made is always our preference but is not always achievable for all of our products.

What is the Driza-Bone warranty policy?

Driza-Bone products incorporate the highest standards in materials, technology, and experience, aimed at giving the wearer the maximum protection possible.

We guarantee our garments against faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months after purchase and will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective part.

This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by misuse, excessive wear and tear, accidents or alteration to the garment carried out by persons or companies other than Driza-Bone. It is also invalid if the garment has not been worn and looked after in accordance with the instructions given with the garment.

What is the Driza-Bone returns policy?

If you wish to return purchased goods due to incorrect sizing, receipt of wrong or faulty goods, or is simply not right, please let us know by calling or emailing our customer service team on +61 3 9425 2222 or info@drizabone.com.au

Return the items to us in original condition within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.

Once we have confirmed your request via email or over the phone, you will receive an email providing details of how and where to return the items(s).

Please ensure you have documented on your return invoice the return authorisation number that is provided to you by email, as well as details of your exchange or refund request. 

Returns within Australia are Free.

For returns from outside Australia: unless the product is faulty, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs and handling fees. This includes the cost to send the product back to us, and the cost to send the exchanged product to you. Please note we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Does Driza-Bone offer a repair service?

We do not offer a repair service, however our Oilskin product manufacturers DNA Manufacturing do. DNA Manufacturing has the ability to repair most problems with your Australian-made Oilskin garment. 

If you would like your Oilskin garment repaired, please fill out the CUSTOMER REPAIR FORM and send it with the garment to:

Please note the following before sending your garment for repair: 

• DNA Manufacturing will aim to repair and/or reproof your Driza-Bone product to the absolute best of their ability
• Please be advised that all problems are unique, and therefore they cannot offer an exact price for the service until they have seen the garment
• A quote on repair will be given to you by phone or email once the garment has been sighted; please leave your details in the spaces provided and you will be contacted by DNA Manufacturing with a quote 
• Garments MUST be reasonably clean when sent for reproofing/repair
• While DNA Manufacturing endeavour to complete all repairs/reproofing in as little time as possible, please allow 4-6 weeks for the service and return of your garment.

Please note that credit card payment is the ONLY payment method accepted.
The estimated cost for DNA Manufacturing to reproof a Riding Coat is $110 and $100 for the Short Coat, Bushman Jacket, Brumby Jacket, Belltrees Vest and Jumbuck Vest. All costs will be confirmed prior to completing the repair/reproofing.

Please note that an additional $20 washing and drying cost will be incurred if the garment is not in a reasonably clean condition.

Do-it-yourself reproofing

While DNA Manufacturing offers a reproofing service, this can be done quite easily by yourself with the purchase of the Driza-Bone Oilskin Reproofer Wax or Spray. To apply the reproofer correctly, please see our Garment Care information tab and follow the instructions on the back of our reproofing products.
