For 125 years, our traditional oilskin products have been proudly made in Australia. While not every oilskin item is currently Australian-made, we continue to produce a selection of pieces here at home - including our Desert Wax and Drywax jackets and vests. You'll find clear origin details on each product page, and each of our Australian-made items are easily identifiable on our website.

All of our Driza-Bone garments and fabrics are designed, tried, and tested, in-house at our head office in Melbourne, Victoria. Where possible we use premium Australian Wool, fabric and leather, and are always looking to increase our support of local manufacturers and suppliers.

We remain committed to Australian manufacturing, however, like many industries, local garment production has declined over time. As skills and specialised machines become less accessible, it has become increasingly challenging to remain competitive in some areas. As a result, we partner with trusted overseas manufacturers for selected items.

Our overseas-made product is currently produced in Vietnam using locally and internationally sourced materials. Through our close relationships with trusted suppliers, we uphold Australian standards and ensure fair and respectful working conditions as well as regularly visiting our partner factories to stay closely connected to the process.

The Rider Coat is an iconic working coat crafted from heavyweight oilskin.
Originally part of our Heritage range, it features a more generous fit.

In contrast, our Riding Coats offer a slimmer, more tailored fit than the Heritage styles. These are available in either our exclusive water-repellent Weatherall365 fabric or heavyweight oilskin.

Some Driza-Bone jackets and vests feature a water-resistant oilskin or drywax finish. These materials are designed to withstand light rain and offer a degree of water resistance, but they are not fully waterproof.

Driza-Bone products are crafted using high-quality materials, advanced techniques, and years of expertise to provide maximum protection for the wearer.

We offer a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in workmanship or materials.
At our discretion, we will repair or replace any faulty components.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, excessive wear and tear, accidents, or alterations made by third parties.
It is also void if the garment has not been used and cared for in accordance with the provided instructions.
